Christoph Ulbig

Christoph Ulbig studied International Forest Ecosystem Management (B.Sc.) after working as an ecological builder and carpenter in Germany. He has been researching in Romania, Kenya and Fiji in the field of community based landscape and forest management. Since 2005 he has been involved in studying the Healing Biotope 1 Tamera, Portugal. He coordinated large scale ecological buildings with straw, timber and clay. In 2010 he focused on ecological restoration, supporting the establishment of the Water Retention Landscape of Tamera in the field of forest, wildlife, water and human interaction. Currently he is teaching and consulting about landscape restoration and regenerative water management in different countries and coordinates the scientific research within Tamera.
